MVD Welcomes Prova Records
Prova Records is an independent Belgian jazz label, that is constantly searching for promising musicians from Belgium and other European countries. The label was founded in 1997 by pianist Michel Bisceglia.
Bisceglia wanted to create his own niche within the contemporary jazz scene by producing original recordings that combine the jazz tradition with European culture. Some of the most internationally renowned jazz musicians have already cooperated on albums from Prova Records, such as Randy Brecker, Bob Mintzer, Peter Erskine, Dave Liebman and the Brussels Jazz Orchestra.
