Michelino Bisceglia wins World Soundtrack Award
Pianist, composer, and arranger Michel Bisceglia's soundtrack for the film "Marina" has won a World Soundtrack Award 2014 in the category "Public Choice."
"Marina" is a film based upon the childhood memories of Rocco Granata. Amongst the nominees were some of the biggest Hollywood-productions of the past year.
Bisceglia states, “I was already very proud that Rocco Granata, Stijn Coninx and producer Peter Boeckaert believed that I was the right composer for this film; and I really enjoyed our excellent teamwork. Receiving an award from the public for this soundtrack is a great honor.”
"Marina" has already won a series of national and international awards. Other winners at this year’s World Soundtrack Awards are: Alexandre Desplat, Pharrell Williams, Daniel Pemberton and Francis Lai.
