Bursting from the coal rich escarpment overlooking the coastal city of Wollongong in Australia, Hytest were born when three young rock n roll fans raised on a diet of The Ramones, Black Flag and Kyuss started to make some noise in an already famed rehearsal space. Hytest guitarist/vocalist Mick Curley had watched his older brothers in their band Tumbleweed rise from the small rehearsal room in his family's back yard to become one of Australia's favourite rock bands. Alongside his mate Luke Armstrong (bass/vocals), he was ready to begin making some sounds of his own. Originally teaming up with Adam Rogan, the band would later settle on Neil Matthews (drums) to round out the powerful trio. The debut album 'Dishing Out The Good Times' will be backed with international touring for the remainder of 2010 in support of US band Mondo Generator.
