Press Quotes

Serving up a healthy death cocktail with the right power, thrash and blackened spices to offer versatility and dynamics - 'Grey Sky Over Black Town' will have little problem appealing to the faithful - and at this point in Illdisposed's career, keeping the hordes satisfied is the bottom line to a productive career.

     —Matt Coe, Eternal Terror

I think this is their best work since the strong series they had from 2004-2008 - and it might even be their strongest release in 25 years. Pure, unadulterated class.

     —Sicktus, Lords Of Metal

(...) it is not at all a first that Illdisposed deliver a crushing combination of brutal groove and melody, and praise the gods for that. This is another album Bo Summer, Jakob Batten and their merry fellows can be proud of. Horns up! Go listen as soon as you get the chance!

     —Power Of Metal

It is brutal and very powerful yet quite melodic and almost catchy, they have a relatively unique approach and remain one of the most interesting bands in their genre. The production is excellent and solid, as their last releases. A relatively varied album on ten tracks and a little over of 40 minutes. With subgrowl vocals and a very nice riffage that surrounded by powerful drumming, it creates a dark and aggressive atmosphere at the same time.

     —Kostas Nikolaides, Reckoning Hour

The zeal and ferocity that oozes from the pores of Illdisposed are highly intoxicating and volatile to the point of sheer pleasure! Catchy, melodic, rhythmical, feisty, engaging, brutal and potent, throbbing out superb bounce and persuasion, while being captivating and diverse, not to mention caustic and abrasive too! It is one superb overwhelming rouse of metal that deserves and warrants the attention it so deserves!

     —Pagan Hel, RamZine
